I’m still paris withdrawing a bit and with the time change im waking up at 7:30 and going to sleep at 1030-11 Paris equivalent to waking up at 1:00 and sleeping at 4:00 which was my schedule 2 weeks ago . I had the most amazing-beautifullll time (besides one traumatic thing) it was perfect. I rented an apt. in Monmatre overlooking the sacred heart, it was magical. I ate until I couldnt anymore and drank more than I ate, which is incredibly possible when wine is cheaper than water. Water sucks in France (FYI it tastes funky; and smells weird). Top 3 favoritest things about Paris shopping-wise and such::::
2.Chez Allard: this restaurant in the 6 arrondissement/ st.germain: was beyond amazing. We had gotten so many recommendations we didnt know what to expect. We really should have dressed up a bit more I wore prada but “O”had a ripped shirt on , the waiters really didnt mind. I think they found it funny that “O” was wearing a Patti smith shirt while every other man was wearing Hermes… it WAS funny. We drank to cover up our embarrassment a bit….the food was.. in one word decadent. We couldnt stop eating and laughing. Chez Allard is not touristy and kinda hard to find, small and kinda pretentious….but amazzzzinnnggg. They dont serve the roast chicken after a certain time b/c it takes over 45 to make…so go early.
we sat at the table on your lowerest right, the big rectangular one.
3. Herboristerie de la place de clichy: I spent more money here than on clothes, this beautifull pharmacie, has organic loose leaf teas, herbs for evrything from acne, headaces and hair, Moistorizers, and rose, lavender, and chamomile water. All in beautifull bottles. I was in heaven. Their nightcream is fuken ammmaaziiiiingggg. a little pricey…I really should have gotten more things…but transporting this stuff is really heavy.

I also was lucky enough to hit the fashion jackpot…we found and by found (i mean literally ran into) the nirvana of vintage shopping. Lanvin, ysl chanel and blah blah for cheappp (19-20 pieces for like 49 euros). We had gotten a recommendation to this place and googled it but nothing came up, nothing!!! Oddly enough we saw it as we were on the above ground metro…fashion miracle!!! and speaking of Lanvin, we spotted Alber Elbaz with an asian cutie by the Louvre, I almost threw up a bit (of excitement). Also a to-go, didier ludot and the shop next to it, I cried a bit when I left here. It was sooooo expensive but everything was priceless. Bless and Margiela, Germany Bless I have to say i enjoyed a bit more…but ParisBless had the friendliest guy working there. We staying like for an hour and half just talking to him. He was superb. Also, the Gaultier exibit at the Costume and textile museum was inspiring, I never realized how many dance costumed he designed. I bought the book. so much more my cuties…there will be a part 2 of this post..i hope. Wait!!!!! also RAGTIME…OMG i cant believe I almost forgot. I did buy a top here. Ragtime is the place of dreammmsss. Old old Pierre Hardy, ysl, balenciaga, Alaia in perfect condition tres tres expensive. I think I bought the cheapest thing, i cant wait to wear it. Sooo very Patriotic of me, i did what my President would want me to do…give alot of money to the French and come home and live on tofu for a long while.
